Jiangmen is a modern city with beautiful landscapes, seaside beaches, and healthy cares of hot spring, forest zoology and customs of overseas Chinese homeland. Jiangmen has a total population of 3.82 million among which the urban population is 1.32 million. Jiangmen is a central city on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta. It covers a total area of 9,541 square kilometers among which the urban area covers 1.818 square kilometers. Jiangmen City belongs to fluvial plain of delta. Most of its topography is low, flat and is gradually slanting from west to east. The altitude of Tianlu Mountain is 1.250 meters which is the highest peak in Jiangmen city. Jiangmen is China's top tourism city with rich tourism resources, beautiful landscapes and a large amount of cultural relics. Chuandao Seaside Tourist Holiday Resort in Taishan, the most well-known scenic spot in Guangdong Province, is honored as Oriental Hawaii. Besides there are ten natural hot springs such as Jinshan Hot Spring, Didu Hot Spring, Jinjiang Hot Spring, Taishan Hot Spring and Gudou Hot Spring etc. The ten hot springs have fine water containing many kinds of minerals and microelements. Enping is honored as the hometown of Chinese hot springs by United Chinese Mining Workers. Birds' Heaven in Xinhui is a natural environment where inhabit thousands of egrets and over ten kinds of gray cranes. Besides it is infused with rich culture of South Range.
