Tangshan, the capital of porcelain in north China, is 135 km to Beijing in the east and 90 km to Tianjin. Its main tourist attractions include the Eastern Tombs of the Qing Dynasty-the largest tombs in China, the Great Wall on water at Panjiakou, the ruins of earthquake, the Earthquake Memorial Hall, the Earthquake Monument, Mount Jingzhong-a Buddhist sacred place, the unique steam engine production center, and the largest pottery and porcelain production center.
