Nokor Phnom Hotel

With construction beginning in late 1993, Nokor Phnom Hotel first opened its doors on 15 October 1995. It was one of the first hotels established in the Siem Reap Angkor region of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The next 10 years would see the hotel expand from an initial capacity of 30 guestrooms to a total of 155 guestrooms in 2005. Nokor Phnom Hotel was, and still is, currently co-owned by a married couple who personally experienced and survived the cruel atrocities of the Pol Pot era. Through sheer determination, hard work and faith - whilst also raising four children - they established what is now one of the most renowned and popular hotels for visitors drawn to Siem Reap each year by the splendor and magical aura of the Angkor Wat Temple Complex. Nokor Phnom Hotel has been an icon of positive change and development in Cambodia. Over the years, Nokor Phnom Hotel has contributed much to the local community in the form of donations to schools, orphanages, and numerous charitable organizations. Annually, Nokor Phnom Hotel offers two underprivileged students full scholarships at the local School of Tourism in an effort to assist in the development of Hospitality and Tourism in Siem Reap.
