Contrexeville is a commune of northeastern France, in the Vosges . Population (1999): 3,708. On 15 July 2004, we spent the night at Contrexeville - the thermal capital of the Vosges - on our way back from the Provence in southern France. We stayed at the Hotel des Vosges along the road that leads to the town centre. This is a picture of the main building of the local health spa, which is were the fountains are that provide visitors with the healthy water. I like it when buildings look a bit dilapidated - this one did.
