Chatham-Kent, often called simply Chatham, is a city located in southwestern Ontario, Canada.In 1998 the former Chatham city government merged with that of Kent County to form the city of Chatham-Kent. The 2001 population of the new city of Chatham-Kent was 107,341, while that within the old boundaries of the City of Chatham was 43,690.Chatham is the birthplace of baseball hall of famer Fergie Jenkins.
