Lymington is situated on the southern edge of the New Forest, between Southampton and Bournemouth and at the western end of the Solent.The town is world renown as a sailing resort; there are two large marinas Berthon and Haven and two sailing clubs RLYC and Lymington Town. Close by the sailing clubs is an open-air seawater bath that was built in 1833.
