Pakse Hotel

Build in the early 60’s by the last King of Champassak Chao Boun Oum, Pakse Hotel was originally a casino+theater+hotel. It has been totally renovated in 2003 to reach international standards. The Pakse Hotel has been awarded “ASEAN GREEN HOTEL” and rated “3 stars” in 2010. The French management is mixing the local influence in the decoration with the French post-colonial style. It is a place where all the staff is devoted to making the guests feel comfortable and “like at home away from home”. On the top of the hotel, a panoramic restaurant Le Panorama has been set. It offers an exceptional view over Pakse, and is a perfect place for a cocktail at sunset time or a romantic dinner overlooking the Mekong. We serve Asian food (Lao-Thai-Chinese), BBQ, Western and Fusion food.

Totally renovated in 2003, well maintained, all rooms provide as a general feature : air conditioning, mini-bar, TV with international channels from cable and satellite, work-desk, comfortable bedding and a private bathroom. Facilities are : money exchange, laundry, room service, free Internet computer near the reception, free wi-fi service (high speed internet), tours desk for local journeys. It is located just in front of the hotel, opposite side of the street. Some items are shown in the hotel lobby, most of them coming from projects for sustainable development held around Pakse.
