Sala Champa is a beautiful old colonial building with nice gardens and water features. Converted to a guest house from an old French home, the property retains all the character of its time with high ceilings and a boutique feel. Located in the very centre of Pakse, guests have a choice of rooms in the main building or bungalows outside, all of which are air conditioned and fully furnished with private bathrooms. The range of prices for the guest rooms varies on the location within the property, but all rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and very nice. The rooms located in the main building are particularly atmospheric and retain the colonial style of high ceilings, balconies and beauty. The newer building on the perimeter of Sala Champa provides modern, well furnished guest rooms for those on a budget.

Rooms are large and spacious and very clean. With cable television, air conditioning and a spacious bathroom with hot water shower, guests are sure to have a pleasant stay. These guest rooms are not conventional, detached bungalows, rather a long building separate from the main house with rooms all joined together. Stay at the Salachampa Hotel in Champasak if you are looking for value for money accommodation. Conveniently located near Pakse town. Bathroom was fine and the beds bouncy and bedding very clean. Some of the staff had limited English, but they tried their best to help us. Definitely one of the friendliest places to stay in Laos.... more detail
