Do stay at the Sky Akita if you arrive in Akita! Being located in the central area suited us perfectly. Fantastic airy rooms, clean and comfy! Quiet too and peaceful. Staff looked after us well, and did everything with a smile! This is a lovely place to stay in Japan, you won't be disappointed....

We recommend the Shuhoku in Akita as for a comfortable few nights. The Akita area was one of the best places to be based. Bathroom was adequate, but the rooms were pretty sizeable for the price.
