Do stay at the Kyoto Tower Annex if you arrive in Kyoto! The hotel is situated in Kyoto area. Rooms come recommended, good size and clean bathrooms and bedding. Had a few communication problems at first, but in the end the staff managed to understand what I needed and were helpful. I was not sure..
