May not be in guidebooks (yet) but the Pon Guesthouse in Champasak comes recommended. Located in Khong Islands proved pretty useful for us. Perfect rooms, comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was fairly basic, but served with a giggle! the staff were all great fun, and made us feel so welcome.. Read Review
