My guide told me to stay at the Vila Guesthouse in Luang Namtha. Great location near city center. Rooms were secure and peaceful. Small bathrooms though! Good restaurants were in easy walking distance from the hotel. Laos is a super place to visit, so I recommend you stay here if you do come!.. It is just south of town, Villa Guest House is a notch up from most in town and offers light and spacious room with plenty of sunlight, large bed, spotless tiled bathroom and TV.
