Pick of the places we stayed in was the Arounsavad Guesthouse in Vientiane. Reasonable location in of town part of town. Accommodation was great, good rooms and excellent service. Well run by a lovely local family. Breakfast was nice too. I can recommend this as a place to stay if you find yourself in this part of Laos.
