It may not be in the guidebooks but Saigon Royal is a cracker of a place to stay in Ho Chi Minh District 1 made for an excellent base for exploring the area. Can't fault the rooms for the price! Reasonable value for money in Ho Chi Minh was the Elios. The place was very well located in Pham Ngu Lao Area close to the local amenities and restaurants. Good size rooms for the price.
