May not be in guidebooks (yet) but the Baan Yuree Resort and Spa in Phuket comes recommended. Being located in Patong Beach proved pretty useful. Value for money rooms - comfortable and secure. Breakfast was basic, but served with a smile! the staff were great fun, and made us feel very welcome. Thailand is gifted with good value accommodation, this was certainly one of the nicest and most friendly places we stayed during our tour.... more detail
