Kep is a seaside tourist city located 173 Km south-west of Phnom Penh, the smallest town with quiet beach town to relax. Everyone in Cambodia say, eat sea foods in Kep and then go for bathing at Sihanouk Ville because of the sea food in Kep are cheaper than but limited places to play because the sand is not white. They are belief that the water in Kep contains a special chemical for curing diseases on skin. With its charming French colonial town, it was found in 1908 and renovated into a beautiful seaside resort in 1960s during then-Prince Norodom Sihanuk's regime. You can enjoy the beach activities and overnight at Bungalow or home stay on Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island), 2 sq km the white beach, clear water and good test of BBQ seafood. At the sea bottom are a variety of corals, fish and plants which attract researchers and ecologists. Phnom Sar Sear (Sar Sear Mountain), the small natural and cultural site's mountain, best view of the sea and surrounding islands with trekking through out the hill top, visit the cave.
