Hmong in Luang Prabang, Laos

Untouch culture of Hmong village on the way to Khouangsi waterfall in Luang Prabang! Ban Thinkeo is newly settlement of Hmong village, there are 12 families, some of them have moved from Xiengkhouang. Ban Thinkeo is located 14KM away from down town Luang Prabang UNESCO Heritage. They are very friendly and warm welcome. 4 of us visited on 30 December 2009. We were welcomed by head of Villager, Mr. Chong Her and his village memeber. Mr. Her took us to explore his paddy field, rice and took us to see his farm, livestock, he hosted us drink and also asked us to participate the culture show of his ethnic. They are very interesting and they like to preserve their culture. Do not forget to visit them if you have chance to visit Khouangsi Waterfall while in Luang Prabang, Laos
