Up for a game of Polo anyone? With Elephants?!

The ancient (?) game of Elephant Polo is taken very seriously and even has an international circuit. How in the world do they transport their elephants around the globe you wonder? Well, I'll leave to you to figure out that mystery when you visit on of their matches. The World Cup of Elephant Polo, if you will, is held in two places every September in Thailand at the Anantara in Hua Hin in Prachuap Khiri Province and at the Anantara Resort & Spa In Chiang Rai. In a game filled with etiquette and hilarity, the elephants and their serious riders take great joy and pride in what they do.
