Trang, located just over an hours flight from Bangkok on the Andaman coast, is a beautiful retreat in a relatively undiscovered place. An area free of high rise hotels, it allows some amazing sightseeing opportunities and the area benefits from having over two thirds of the province as designated national parkland. A fabulous place for a quiet retreat. Located in the Koh Lanta National Marine Park, Koh Lanta Yai is accessible by a two-hour road and boat trip from Krabi. The Island is long and thin traversed by a mountain range covered in virgin rainforest and is still relatively undeveloped. It is however home to some fabulous boutique resorts, perfect for honeymooners or those just wishing to escape it all.
