Prachuab Khiri Khan is one of the many tourist destinations in Thailand. This was a summer retreat for Royalty and kings. It is actually a province. The place has nowadays become a great tourist destination for its close proximity to Bangkok and it is the hub of all water sports with many places providing hotels and resorts. Prachuab Khiri Khan has a past which dates back to the days of the Ayutthaya era . Its exact location is not known but however evidences of its location and history has been found in the various artifacts that have surfaced with time. There is no history of its exact location. The place with time became renowned for its astrological significance. However during the reign of king Rama the vi Pran Buri was named Prachuab Khiri Khan and was made a province. Permission needs to be obtained from beforehand. There is a national park named Kao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Ao Prachuap -a beach, Ao Manao -a bay and many such places. However the chief point of attraction for all tourists remains Bangkok that is a tourist's paradise. All these hotels come at reasonable prices providing all the modern facilities.
