Undiscoverd Bang Saphan

Bang Saphan, in Prachuap Khiri Khan is the kind of place that tourists do not want to become discovered but cannot resist telling everyone about. It is an idyllic peaceful seaside town with broad beaches situated in a expansive bay. It is the kind place that is often referred to as sleepy, somnolent or as a place to chill out. Bang Saphan is just hours away from Bangkok but just a bit too far for trendy Thais and just too close for the tourists who are heading to the more hyped up isalnds of Ko Samui, Ko Tao and Phuket. In addition to the empty coconut tree lined beaches, for the lovers of the sea there is the nearby island of Koh Talu (Ko Talu) which, beyond having its own brillant beaches, offers fishing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, sailing, trekking for the more active at heart. On the mainland there are couple of pleasant waterfalls to visit and for those more into the local life visit a local fishing village or stop any nearby temples. Golfers beware. You do not have to go too far to find a game of golf here.
