Hoa Binh is city in the South – East of Viet Nam. Located on the Da river about 73 Km of Ha Noi. The culture of Hoa Binh combines several ethnic groups with their own languages, traditional literature, and festivals. Hoa Binh Hydro – electric Power Plant is the largest in Viet Nam. Its construction began in November 1979, with assistance from the former Soviet Union. The Plant's reservoir along the Da river has become an attractive tourist site. Hoa Binh province‘s mineral spring is remarkable. Byword for that is Kim Boi mineral spring, with temperature is 360oC, standard making mineral water bottle, suitable treatment of stomach aches and high – blood pressure ...Kim Boi is mineral water is bottled for drinking and is comparable to some well known foreign brand. Mai Chau valley about 150 km from Ha Noi and 70km (37 miles) from Hoa Binh. Mai Chau is well known for its natural beauty. The valley is home to many ethnic minorities, including the white Thai. From the top of Cun Mountain, the panorama of the lush green valley with row of stilt houses is laid out before you. Lac village is located in Chieng Mai Commune, 1km from the town center of Mai Chau district. Tourists especially enjoy the minority specialty dishes including rice cooked in bamboo and grilled meat. They also enjoy watching traditional dancing, music performances (bronze, drums, gongs), and Thai minority singing and dancing. The remote minority villages are attractive sites for tourists.
